Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register on ShadiGiva. By registering, you confirm that you are of legal marriageable age as per the laws of your state and country. Profiles of minors will be removed immediately.

2. Accurate Information

You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and current information on your profile. Creating false, misleading, or fraudulent profiles is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and possible legal action.

• Your name, date of birth, marital status, and contact details must be accurate.
• Photos must be genuine photos of yourself — not someone else, not stock images.
• Educational and professional details must be truthful.

3. One Account Per Person

Each individual may register only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to evade verification or bans is prohibited.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, abuse, or threaten any other member
• Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• Attempt to defraud or deceive other members
• Share another member's personal information without consent
• Use ShadiGiva for any purpose other than matrimonial matchmaking
• Upload content that is offensive, obscene, or illegal
• Attempt to bypass our security systems or verification process

5. Verification

ShadiGiva offers a 5-step verification process. Verified status is earned, not guaranteed. We reserve the right to revoke verified status if information is found to be inaccurate.

6. Privacy of Other Members

Contact information of other members is shared only after mutual acceptance of interest. You must not share another member's personal details outside the platform without their explicit consent.

7. Membership Plans

Free membership (Pratham) is available to all users. Paid memberships (Vivah and Param Vivah) unlock additional features. Paid plans are non-refundable after 7 days of purchase unless the service is unavailable.

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of your photos and profile content. By uploading, you grant ShadiGiva a non-exclusive licence to display your content to other registered members for the purpose of matchmaking.

9. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at support@shadigiva.com. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from public view within 24 hours. Backup copies may be retained for up to 30 days.

10. Disclaimer

ShadiGiva is a platform that facilitates introductions between individuals seeking matrimonial connections. We do not guarantee that any match will result in a marriage. We are not responsible for the conduct of members outside our platform.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Punjab, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered members of material changes via email.
